Summary

NHTSA-CAMP technical report (DOT HS 810 635, 2006) developing performance metrics and test procedures for visual, manual, and cognitive driver workload during in-vehicle task use. Data were collected across three venues (laboratory, instrumented interstate highway, test track) for 22 in-vehicle tasks plus a baseline driving condition under varied experimental conditions.
