Abstract

We describe a series of analogous systems, from tank crews to emergency room staffs, in which a team of operators must rapidly mobilize to cope with a crisis. The ways in which these teams, and their dynamic responses, may differ are enumerated, and some tentative conclusions drawn by an interdisciplinary panel are offered.
