Scope
Technical report giving official CIE recommendations for the colour-vision requirements necessary to ensure safe and reliable recognition of coloured signal lights and other colour-coded visual information across transport modes (maritime, air, rail, road). Takes into account the complexity of colour codes, observation conditions, and the importance of colour recognition to safety; recommends test procedures and classifies colour vision into categories.
