Scope

Technical report (Divisions 1 and 3) defining three disability-glare equations that extend the classic Stiles-Holladay equation to account for observer age, ocular pigmentation, and a wider angular domain. Gives the veiling luminance produced in the eye by a point glare source as a function of glare angle (validity up to about 0.1-100 degrees in the General equation), age, and pigmentation. Published bundled as CIE 146/147:2002.
