Scope
Guidance on road and vehicle lighting tailored to the mixed-traffic, high-pedestrian conditions of developing countries, where vulnerable road users share carriageways with motor vehicles. Addresses the driver's visibility task and the conspicuity of pedestrians and non-motorised road users under constrained lighting infrastructure, connecting lighting provision to night-time crash risk.
