Technical report reviewing research methods, mathematical models, and the variables influencing discomfort glare in road and vehicle lighting, and the difficulties in evaluating and measuring discomfort glare and the variance among existing models. Covers discomfort glare experienced by drivers from road lighting and vehicle (headlamp) lighting (40 pages, 7 figures, 2 tables).
