Scope
Governs headlamps, signal lamps and retroreflective devices via Technical Standards Document (TSD) No. 108, which incorporates US FMVSS No. 108. Bears on the driver's night forward vision, vehicle conspicuity and glare control. Notably mandates daytime running lamps (DRLs) — a Canada-specific requirement beyond US FMVSS 108.
