Scope
Defines assessment of the Safe Driving component of the Safety Assist box, including Driver State Monitoring: direct/indirect detection of drowsiness (and from 2026 full credit only for direct or direct+indirect systems), distraction detection, and driver-unresponsiveness handling, with escalating warnings and mitigation (e.g., increased ADAS sensitivity, safe stop). Direct systems must be active at vehicle speeds >=10 km/h in forward motion.
