Scope
Part of Euro NCAP's 2026 Safe Driving methodology. Assesses in-cabin occupant/driver monitoring: seatbelt usage/misuse warnings, occupant positioning, occupant classification for restraint optimisation, child presence detection, and post-crash occupancy. The driver-monitoring portions (driver presence/classification) feed restraint and ADAS decisions. Largely occupant-restraint focused with a driver-state slice.
