Scope
The scoring/assessment protocol that aggregates VRU outcomes into the star rating, combining passive head/leg impact protection with the active AEB/LSS VRU performance points. The driver-relevant portion is the weighting of the vehicle's VRU detection-and-avoidance capability that supplements the driver's own perception of pedestrians and cyclists.
