Scope
Contains the basic warning strategy, minimum functionality, basic driver-interface elements, diagnostics/failure-reaction requirements and performance test procedures for curve speed warning systems, which warn the driver against excessive speed for an upcoming curve so the driver may reduce speed. Applies to vehicles with four or more wheels; the system does not control the vehicle. Confirmed current.
