Scope
Describes criteria for the perception of visual danger signals in the area in which people are intended to perceive and react to such a signal, and specifies the safety and ergonomic requirements with the corresponding physical measurements. It does not apply to danger indicators presented in written or pictorial form or transmitted by data display units. Technically identical to EN 842; foundational for in-vehicle visual warning design.
