Scope
Gives minimum safety, ergonomic and performance requirements and test procedures for Camera Monitor Systems used to replace mandatory rear-view mirrors, covering what the driver sees (field of view, image quality, latency, luminance/contrast) for mirror classes per UN R46. Amendment 1:2021 exists. ADAS such as parking aids excluded.
