Scope
Contains the basic control strategy, minimum functionality, basic driver-interface elements, diagnostics/failure-reaction requirements and test procedures for low speed following systems, intended to reduce the driver's workload of repeated accelerator/brake operation in congested traffic by maintaining following distance behind a target vehicle.
