Scope
Provides guidance for a scenario-based safety evaluation framework for automated driving systems applied during product development. It lays out safety-evaluation procedures and methods for deriving critical scenarios that require immediate action to ensure safety. The framework is intended for ADS defined in ISO/SAE PAS 22736 on limited-access highways; it does not address misuse, human-machine interface, or cybersecurity issues.
