Scope
Provides a description of anthropometric measurements that can be used as a basis for comparison of population groups and for building anthropometric databases. The basic list of measurements is intended to guide ergonomists who define population groups and apply that knowledge to the geometric design of workplaces and products, and serves as a basis for extracting one- and two-dimensional measurements from 3D scans. Foundational anthropometry for driver-workstation packaging and reach/clearance design.
