Scope
Provides a common framework of definitions and measurement methods for the design and ergonomic testing of automotive head-up displays: reference points and viewing conditions based on driver eye points, HUD image geometry/optical properties, virtual-image and driver-vision measurements, and static/dynamic laboratory and field assessments. Covers cars and commercial vehicles; excludes helmet/head-worn HUDs.
