Scope
Japanese Industrial Standard specifying standardised symbols for controls, indicators and tell-tales on road vehicles (excluding two-wheelers), plus tell-tale colours signalling correct operation or malfunction to the driver. Governs legibility and consistency of the in-cab visual/control interface. The 2011 edition (equivalent to ISO 2575:2010) superseded the 2001/2006 editions and was withdrawn 2016-09-20; recorded for catalogue completeness.
