Scope
Phase 1 non-binding, voluntary guidelines for original-equipment (OE) integrated in-vehicle electronic devices operated by the driver through visual-manual means. Lists secondary tasks that should be locked out while driving, recommends design limits on visual-manual demand, and specifies an eye-glance test method (eyes-off-road time / glance-based acceptance testing).
