Scope
Recommended Practice specifying the second-generation H-point machine (HPM-II) and the procedure for installing it and auditing key driver-package reference points and measurements in a built vehicle seat. The companion H-point design tool (HPD) is a simplified CAD version usable in design. Consolidates HPM-II / ASPECT manikin auditing and calibration; foundational to driver seating, reach, and sightline geometry.
