Scope
Specifies the location, identification (symbols), colour and illumination of motor-vehicle hand controls, tell-tales and indicators for categories M and N, to ensure accessibility and visibility and to facilitate correct selection under day and night conditions, thereby reducing safety hazards from diversion of the driver's attention and from control-selection errors.
