Scope
Draft UN Regulation establishing approval requirements for Advanced Driver Distraction Warning systems that monitor the driver (typically via driver-monitoring cameras / gaze direction) to detect visual/manual distraction and warn the driver when distracted. Operates day and night. Submitted to WP.29/AC.1 for the March 2026 session.
