What's here. Rider-centred work: motorcycle crash typology, motorcyclist skill, motorcycle conspicuity, helmet and protective equipment, and motorcycle handling. The powered two-wheeler and its rider are the unit of analysis here, not the car driver who fails to see them.

What isn't here.

• pedestrians, cyclists, e-scooter riders, and the car-driver side of interacting with them — Vulnerable Road Users. Two-wheeler riders are treated separately here, so vru_crash_typology and motorcycle_crash_typology are easy to confuse: check which road user the study counts.
