The CVL results were categorized into classifications ranging from "no fatigue" (<30%) to "activity not permitted" (>100%). The findings reveal a significant disparity between mental and physical strain. Regarding mental workload, the majority of officers reported high levels of stress. In the morning shift, 11 of 16 officers experienced high mental workload (average WWL 60), while 5 reported moderately high levels (average WWL 48). The night shift showed even higher prevalence, with 15 of 16 officers experiencing high mental workload (average WWL 60) and only one reporting moderately high levels. The "effort" dimension scored highest in both shifts, attributed to heavy traffic and campus activities in the morning, and ongoing student activities late into the night. Conversely, physical workload results indicated no significant fatigue for the group as a whole. The average CVL for the morning shift was 23.22% and for the night shift was 25.42%, both falling below the 30% threshold for "no fatigue." However, individual variations existed: five morning shift officers and seven night shift officers exceeded the 30% CVL threshold, indicating a need for improvement in their physical workload management. The study concludes that while security officers at Universitas Negeri Gorontalo do not experience significant physical fatigue on average, they suffer from predominantly high mental workload across both shifts. This suggests that the primary ergonomic concern is cognitive rather than physical, likely driven by the demanding nature of traffic control, guest escorting, and continuous patrol duties within long shift durations. The findings highlight the need for interventions focused on reducing mental strain rather than physical exertion.
