Scope
Specifies rear-vision mirror requirements and, for light vehicles, a rear visibility system (rear-view image / backup camera) meeting the field-of-view and image-quality requirements of 49 CFR 571.111. Addresses the driver's rearward field of vision and detection of road users in the rear blind zone when reversing. Explicitly references and mirrors US FMVSS No. 111.
