Scope
Defines the track-test scenarios and pass/fail scoring for forward autonomous emergency braking and forward collision warning in car-to-car conflicts (rear-stationary CCRs, rear-moving CCRm, rear-braking CCRb, junction/crossing and head-on scenarios). From the driver's side it assesses the timing and salience of the forward-collision warning and the autonomous braking intervention that backs up driver response. Version 4.3.1 (February 2024); implementation from 2023.
