Scope
Specifies requirements for windshield defrosting and defogging systems for passenger cars, multipurpose passenger vehicles, trucks, and buses, so the vehicle operator can see sufficiently through the windshield. Directly preserves the driver's clear forward field of view / visual perception of the road scene in cold or humid conditions.
