Scope
Specifies a coherent system of danger and information signals that takes account of the different degrees of urgency, in order to reduce risks from misinterpretation of visual and auditory signals. Applicable to all danger and information signals that must be clearly perceived and differentiated. Technically identical to EN 981; foundational for prioritising and differentiating multimodal in-vehicle warnings.
