Scope
Gives design recommendations and requirements for the direction-of-motion of hand controls in passenger, multipurpose and commercial vehicles and buses, so control actuation conforms to drivers' learned expectations (stereotypes), reducing actuation errors, time and workload. 3rd edition, minor revision of ISO 12214:2010.
