Scope
Specifies the concept of operation, minimum functionality, system requirements, interfaces and test procedures for pedestrian detection and collision mitigation systems on light-duty passenger vehicles. PDCMS detect pedestrians ahead, determine hazard, warn the driver, and apply braking to mitigate collision severity. Confirmed current (last reviewed 2023).
