Scope
Contains the basic control strategy, minimum functionality, basic driver-interface elements, failure-reaction requirements and test procedures for partially automated lane change systems that perform lane changes under the driver's initiation and supervision on access-controlled highways with same-direction traffic. The driver always assumes responsibility. Applies to light- and heavy-duty vehicles.
