Scope
Specifies the concept of operation, minimum functionality, system requirements, interfaces and test methods for forward vehicle collision mitigation systems (FVCMS), which warn the driver and then automatically apply mitigation braking when a forward collision is likely; includes driver-warning and driver-action interfaces.
