Scope
Specifies the concept of operation, system requirements and test methods for cooperative intersection signal information and violation warning systems at signalized intersections, intended to reduce crash likelihood by enhancing drivers' ability to avoid crash situations. The communication technologies and the behavioural responses of drivers are explicitly excluded.
