Scope
Specifies requirements and recommendations on performance criteria for in-vehicle display systems as a guideline for suppliers and manufacturers under normal operating conditions. Applies to interior display systems that present vital information to the driver and passenger, including head-up displays (HUD) and camera-monitor / e-mirror displays. The display is evaluated as a complete system — cover lenses, coatings and the device's own properties — not only the display device. Covers passenger and commercial vehicles including heavy trucks and buses.
