Scope
Provides a taxonomy with detailed definitions for six levels of driving automation (Level 0 through Level 5) for on-road motor vehicles, spanning no automation to full automation. Defines key terms including the dynamic driving task (DDT), operational design domain (ODD), DDT fallback, and minimal risk condition, to support clear, consistent communication about driving automation.
