Scope
Recommended Practice providing guidance for the driver-vehicle interface (DVI) of intervention-type lane keeping assistance systems (LKAS, per ISO 11270) that momentarily intervene to address lane/road departures without sustained automation (SAE Level 0). Addresses DVI parameters (status, activation, alerts) for OEM LKA on light-duty vehicles under 10,000 lb GVWR; drivers can override at any time.
