Scope

Approval of Blind Spot Information Systems (BSIS) on heavy vehicles (categories N2, N3; optional M2, M3) that detect cyclists in the near-side blind spot and inform the driver during low-speed right/left turns. Specifies the detection zone, the timing of an early information signal when a cyclist may enter the critical area, and an escalated warning when collision becomes likely, plus constraints on signal modality and conspicuity so the driver can react before turning across a cyclist's path.
