Scope
Approval of reversing lamps (and manoeuvring lamps) for motor vehicles and trailers. Specifies the white rearward-facing lamp that both illuminates the area behind the vehicle for the reversing driver and signals to other road users that the vehicle is reversing. Relevant to reversing/parking situational awareness. Performance for new types is now also covered by R148.
