Scope
Specifies performance requirements for tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS) to warn the driver, via an in-cab low tire pressure warning telltale, when one or more tires is significantly under-inflated. Includes telltale symbol/identification, illumination conditions, lamp-check at ignition-on, and a TPMS malfunction telltale. The driver-facing element is the warning telltale/display at the human-machine interface.
