Scope

Track protocol rating passenger-vehicle front crash prevention systems that warn, automatically brake, or steer to mitigate front-to-rear crashes. The 2.0 program raises test speeds and adds motorcycle and semitrailer targets in centre and offset positions, probing driver-warning timing plus the system's perception and braking response at the higher closing speeds where real-world fatalities cluster.
