Scope
Establishes requirements and recommendations for in-vehicle auditory signals (speech and non-speech sounds) presented by TICS to the driver, addressing intelligibility, signal characteristics and functional factors to avoid auditory/mental overload; applies primarily while the vehicle is in motion.
