Scope
Specifies minimum requirements for the image quality and legibility of displays presenting dynamic (changeable) visual information to the driver of a moving road vehicle via on-board transport information and control systems (TICS), addressing perceptual and basic cognitive aspects such as character legibility, contrast and colour recognition, with associated test procedures, independent of display technology.
