Scope

Request-for-comments notice (Docket NHTSA-2021-0002) proposing to add blind spot warning, blind spot intervention, lane keeping support, and pedestrian AEB to US NCAP and to raise the stringency of the existing LDW, CIB, DBS and FCW driver-facing test procedures. The originating program-update proposal for the recommended ADAS test suite; superseded by the 2024 Final Decision Notice.
