Scope
Information Report providing working definitions for key concepts important to the user's interaction with SAE J3016 Level 2 through Level 4 driving-automation features, covering human-factors issues of integrating automation into the vehicle that affect driver/user performance and experience through the driver-vehicle interface (DVI), and providing references to relevant research.
