Scope
Technical Specification describing the framework, system characteristics, states/transition conditions and functions for SAE Level 3 motorway chauffeur systems with a fallback-ready user. Includes the requirement to issue a request to intervene (RTI) before disengaging and to transfer control between the human driver and the ADS. Applies to light vehicles.
