secondary collisions

Subsequent crashes that follow an initial collision: the first impact spawns additional ones, as in rear-end chain reactions, multi-vehicle pile-ups, and a stalled or disabled vehicle being struck again. The focus is the cascading sequence of impacts itself. Unlike post_crash_care_delays (delays in EMS reaching the scene) and evacuation_egress (occupants getting out of the vehicle), this is about further vehicle-to-vehicle impacts; unlike driver_post_crash_behavior, it concerns the crash dynamics, not what the driver chooses to do.
