Programs and feedback intended to change how people drive: instruction, licensing curricula, coaching, incentives, and safety messaging.

What's here. Formal instruction and its evaluation — novice_curricula, driver_education_effectiveness, older_driver_retraining — plus skill training such as hazard_perception_training. Also interventions delivered outside a classroom: in_vehicle_coaching, telematics_ubi_feedback, gamification_driving, parental_management, and public_messaging campaigns.

What isn't here.

• hazard perception as a perceptual ability — how drivers detect and prioritize hazards, and how that ability is measured — Visual Perception & Hazard Perception in Driving. This category holds hazard_perception_training: the intervention and its transfer to driving. The underlying perceptual process and its assessment sit in hazard_perception.
• older and novice drivers as populations — age-related decline, crash rates by age, experience effects — Age & Experience. older_driver_retraining here is the remediation program. Characterizing the drivers themselves, including fitness-to-drive screening, belongs to older_drivers in age_experience.
• enforcement and regulatory countermeasures, including speed_management, graduated licensing law, and sanctions — Policy & Enforcement. Voluntary and educational levers are here; legal and enforcement levers are there. parental_management (family rules and monitoring of teen driving) is not speed_management.
