Parental supervision and control of teen driving as an intervention: parent-teen agreements, household rules, restrictions on passengers, night driving and trips, and monitoring of adolescent drivers by parents. Defined by informal, family-level regulation. Distinct from graduated_licensing, which is the legal, state-mandated staging of licenses, and from novice_curricula, which is formal instructional content rather than parental rule-setting.
