Microsleep events: brief involuntary lapses into sleep of roughly 1-15 seconds, marked by prolonged eyelid closure (PERCLOS), EEG sleep intrusions, or lane drift while drowsy. The discrete sleep EVENT and its detection, not the general sleepy state (drowsiness) or its upstream cause (sleep_deprivation).
