gaze based attention detection

Inferring driver attention state specifically from eye and gaze signals: gaze direction, fixation location, on-road vs off-road glance classification, eyes-on-road monitoring, and gaze-zone or attention-buffer models that decide whether the driver is looking where they should. Unlike drowsiness_detection_algorithms (which targets fatigue/sleepiness) and distraction_detection_algorithms (which uses any modality and targets distraction broadly), this is restricted to ocular/gaze tracking as the input signal for an attention judgment.
